Replying to Modifying gloves?

So I picked up a new pair of gloves this season (the Oyuki Tamashii) and the cuff is awkwardly loose, and weirdly there's no way to tighten them beyond a totally ineffective zipper. Already wore them a couple days so I don't think I can return.
Seems like it could be an easy enough fix to sew on some velcro, but I'm not sure I wanna mangle a pair of gloves I just dropped over $120 on.

Anyone done this or something like it? Any advice?
