I have 2 homies who use to take winters off for comps but now are full time students, it's so hard to ski with them unless its planned the night before, they have to catch up on shit and sleep literally whenever they're not doing hw.

This is the worst. Any skier worth their salt knows to lay your cloths on a couch the night before and have all your gear waiting by the door so you can wake up, throw your shit on and get in the car.

People strapped for cash/not wanting to buy a ticket is totally understandable but annoying, especially when youre surrounded by people who work all summer/fall so they can chill and ski all winter. Already having passes to other resorts makes it easy to go and ski for free and thats always preferred but damn, getting people to come explore other mountains can be a challenge. Skiing solo gets stale after a while

Is there a new one? I watched the one with tom cruise and it sucked so bad. I would have rather been anywhere else and I was on a flight so really no other options but anything was better than that movie.

Back in NH there was some nasty kid from a small mountain who would probably be known now but just stopped skiing for fitness, I get new things can be fun but fuck, the gym over skiing? Whack
