Vermont Ski Trip

So my family and a few friends are planning a ski trip up to Vermont from central PA in march. What are some of the best places to go?
Here is what we are looking for,
We want a resort that is not too far. For example Jay Peak is a little too far and we want our drive to be under around 7 hours. We want the place to have decnt prices and nice chalets or hotels around. We are also looking for some fun parks for my friends and I. A plus would for it to be family friendly for some skiers that only go on greens and blues.

I agree that Killington will probably be in great shape in March, the past few years we have gotten lots of snow then. If you want to stay near the mountain for cheap look for a hotel in Rutland they should be less expensive than a place on the access road

Agreed do Killington. Night life and proximity. Wobbly barn steak house will be the best dinner youve had in a while

It’s worth and extra 12hr drive to go to Jay. Personally I would start start by coming up through NY and ski whiteface then head across to Jay continue down to Mad River and then over to Stratton or Magic on the way home. If you need to choose one place definitely Jay or Mad River.

Killington is always great during the spring
They have great vibes and awesome locals to help you put if needed

Stowe or Killington are pretty good options. Can't go wrong with either. Stowe is about an extra 1.5 hrs from Killington FWIW.
