Help with f4

Hi newschoolers,
I'v recently been trying to f4 and no matter how hard I try I cant manage to get more then a 360 if that. I can stomp a f2 99/100 times but can't seem to get the f4. I haven't gotten my skis sharpened in 2 years but I don't think that would really matter. every time I try harder to dig the edge in and spin it does close to nothing. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Update: Laced it up today finally. Will a somewhat sloppy f6 later in the day.

Just gotta grip and rip. Find a short flat rail or box with a decent drop off the end. I'm pretty sure that's how I learned my first one.

Also can you hit rails switch? If so you can continue your momentum which will help.

keep looking over your shoulder and the best way to bring it around(although doesn't look as good) is to be at basically 50/50 when you leave the rail. How many times have you tried? It took quite a few tries before i landed a f4

I can do rails switch but not on big features or with tons of speed.

Been working it for a few hours but I don't expect to get it until about 8-10. Just hoping to find tips to make it easier.

Oh wow that thing looks horrible to learn them on. Way too low and not very flat

Yeah it truly is. There’s a bigger one that I’ve been trying but it’s flat and you have to bomb onto it and it’s super slippery.

yeah that's not an ideal rail to learn on. 100% possible to do it on of course but for learning it? eh... you don't have much time to lock in and you don't have don't have much air time off the end to spin

so try to find something a little better if you can. but regardless, SET IT AND FORGET IT. youre not doing a 2 out youre doing a 4, youre not spotting your landing at 2 cause you got shit to do, youre busy looking over your shoulder for that forward landing. don't worry about your feet as much as you might think you need to, you can wash it out at first if need be

also lift your knees
