FrostyMN.I used to hate this... then my friends and I turned this into a points game at Troll. See points below, winner gets 1 item from the bar. You must witness the items below:

1 Point:
Alcohol containers on the hill
Speakers (Playing music)
LED lights on snowboard
Wipeouts (Downhill only, no points for park crashes)

Multiple points
1 point per item dropped upon wipeout (ski poles are each 1 point)
1 point per time the lift is stopped because of incorrect loading
1 point per person that doesn't successfully get off the lift at the top.

When playing multiple rounds go to 20 points to win.

Yep, post Malone definitely doesn’t go well in a long ass lift line. But main park at mammoth has speakers and sometimes they’ll play good music which is sick.

It’s always the snowboarders with big ass goggles and a jacket with a backpack and they are blasting shitty dubstep and techno, but for skiers it’s always the ones with the goggles over the beanie with the little fuzz ball on top, and the dudes have shitty park skis that are back mounted. They also wear under armor hoodies.

Was in a gondola at Keystone, two friends were both playing music on their speakers/phone. Surprised they both kept talking over it like it wasn’t happening.

partyandBSBlasting music is questionable at a resort. I will bring a Bluetooth speaker for a long sunny ascent and for beers at the top but that’s just with a few friends who I know and have an idea of their music tastes and it’s all good. Some hikes I’ve summited and there were other there so I switch to something mellow like the dead or something with no words or say in a dad like voice “the request line is open”

I would be tempted to punt your speaker if i was near you on a hike and you were playing music.

Oh my god, I hate, when people are listening to garbage music in public places, it gets on my nerves. I think that speakers should be used in appropriate places.
My acquaintance always listens to his music through Bluetooth speakers. Moreover, his music preferences are so bad, that many people are not so pleased with it. I tried to talk to him, to say, that he should use headphones, I even used Google to find good headphones, I read a lot of reviews from site with examples of speakers for affordable price and awesome quality, but he is so stubborn, he thinks, that everyone enjoys his music.

I always yell "PLAY JOURNEY"

usually gets them to either turn it down, pause it, or change it. Also gets people to laugh. Never had anyone get all agro.

Types of music I do:

1. Earbuds that I usually turn off on the lift to listen and be involved in conversation. I'll listen to almost any upbeat music when skiing, just need something that hypes me up.
2. Literally singing in the liftline if I'm happy. I don't give a fuck, my first day on the hill last year, I belted Party in the USA by Miley Cyrus cause fuck it, I'm happy as shit! Got the whole tunnel to Mineral singing Country Road with the homies last year. I also serenaded some people with The Devil Wears a Suit and tie when I was riding solo on the lift with some out of towners.
3. Whatever anyone is listening to on a backpack speaker if I know it. I'm all about having a good time, I'll crack a beer and sing it with you before I give the liftie a hug and get on the lift.

Hell yeah! Singing in the lift line on the lift and skiing down the hill! Shout out to my homeboy mountain ops Chad for always rocking the speaker and belting out the tunes with his great baritone voice while doing crowd control in the liftlines
