Replying to Look Pivots or Tyrolia Attacks for mounting on Moment Deathwish?
Alright so I’ve searchbarred this a bunch and have only ended up more confused.
Should I go with the pivot 14s or attacks for mounting on the Moment Deathwish (112mm underfoot)? From what I understand people say the Attacks are better for wider skis, but I don’t understand why that would be.
I have FKS 14s (same as pivots basically) on my current park skis and have loved them to death but don’t want to buy a binding that is apparently not the best for wider skis. Not sure if that’s true or not but that’s what I’ve read.
I’m also biased toward the Pivots because of the pivot heel and all the knee safety that comes with it. I’ve never had a knee injury and I’d like to keep it that way - from what I understand, pivots are great in that respect. Not sure how much of a difference it really makes but I’ve always felt really safe in my pivots due to the option of a lateral heel release and happy ligaments.
Can anyone make a good case for the Attacks on a wider ski, or just in general?
