Best stabilizer to film with?

Hi Newschoolers, just wondering what you all think is the best stabilizer to film mostly park skiing with. I’m looking at the glidecam 4000 pro which seems like a good option because I obviously want the final cut to be really smooth. My price range is 100-400$ new, used or refurbished. What are your thoughts on this?

I'd suggest searching the Media & Arts forum first.

Either way, if you're looking for suggestions, people need to know what kind of setup you're shooting with and it's weight.

if you're using a mirrorless cam/small DSLR a glidecam 2000 pro is def best bang for buck

I’m using a small dslr at the moment but will upgrade in the future. Probably won’t be to anything super elite though.

I would say the LAING p-4s is the best way to go, it'll handle cameras from 0-33 pounds so if you ever upgrade to a heavier set up you don't have to buy a new glidecam. It's also like $200 cheaper than an HD-2000 and $300 cheaper than a 4000. A little bit less build quality but I've been filming with one for years and I like it better than the name brand glidecams. The top plate comes off so much quicker if you don't have a quick release and the handle position can be moved unlike the Glidecams. Besides that they're exactly the same.
