I'll admit I don't spend much time on NS. I snowboard and have been on skis like 3 times in my life. My friend Connor Gambles does ski. I met him years ago while I was riding in New Zealand. Him and his family took me in as their own when I was homeless there.
Connor tried to come to the United States to ski this winter. When he landed in the US he was interrogated for 15 hours and then sent home. The immigration official called me basically telling me Connor was a criminal because he thought that he was trying to work here without the right visa. I know that Connor had saved up for a while to ski here and wasn't trying to work.
I just want to help him out, cover some of his lost costs and try and get him back here. I made a GoFundMe for him. If this is not the correct place for this, I apologize. I just want to help out my friend any way that I can.
