SchoessAs a guy who makes videos, I agree. I really don't care about drone shots for angles of the skier doing a stunt. It's an unnatural perspective for humans and is weird on the brain. I DO think drone shots add value for establishing shots or an overview of the area/jump/landscape.
Keep in mind that normies love drone shots and eat that shit up.

DrZoidbergThis happens in surfing too. The top down perspective is so bad. You can't tell if the wave is 1ft or 10ft, or basically anything about how a turn was actually performed. I get why this isn't done for surfing, but for skiing it should be used as a really dynamic follow cam more or less close to the ground. They need to hire one of those drone racer people to film. A scenic overlook is nice, but even then they need to be not looking straight down, otherwise the scene has no depth
But yeah, normies adore drone footy. Every time I surf there's randos filming us surfing or just the ocean with the drones. Then they go on insta and they're like I'm Bob's ocean media Co, like and follow our page for s t u n n i n g drone footy and content. Like yeah, we needed another shot of a drone looking down and gaining altitude to reveal more of the landscape. Spoiler alert: it's the ocean, it's all water.

KCoCMwasnt talking abhout myself im years away from being good enough to wanna film anything. i think clothing has less to do with style than body control. blading clips I find least appealing are where the skater hops on a rail and immediately starts doing as many different grind variations they can think of without ever leaving the rail, just moving feet in front/ behind one anothe etc.
my favorite skater is broskow, his skating reminds me the most of skiing

Raw skiing mastery only goes so far for me, you gotta not only add flavor but also be a person worth caring about, and I don’t really know shit about candide from his videos and insta.
The_Best_Breaddope snow or montec arnt horrible brands as everyone on here portrays them to be. If you like how they look and make you feel good, get them, fuck what everyone else has to say.

Not hating because they aren’t “core” or whatever, but I just genuinely don’t get a good vibe from them, the new “hypebeast” style of skiing just doesn’t do it for me. But I don’t mean to take away from their skiing, they are extremely talented and have put in a lot of effort. But I just don’t like them

my gf and friends hate skiing lift line cause it’s “embarrassing” or what not. Nah it’s like a stage almost. Just ball out and if you fall it’s no biggie, everyone on the mountain is chill asf.

WoFlowzWoofbiz pants are nuts for the price. Cool idea of bringing parachute pants to people tho. The neon ones look so bad and the massive rectangle with the tight ankle synch looks so bad. Not to mention 200$ for some ribstop shells??? If ur gonna pay that much atleast get some anytides or something that isn’t just a massive rectangle and took half a hour to make
