jmckay7Right okay.... OP, as this guy pointed out, laid out backflips off large jumps are wayyyy easier, off you to go to chad's gap. You'll nail it first time
In fairness it's all down to the size of the kicker. If it's big enough you'll find yourself naturally laying out, to slow rotation, But on small kickers you're gonna need to tuck to get around fast enough before you faceplant- which I'm sure most people on this forum have done at least once, including me haha.

yurtya layout is just as easy as a tuck imo, theyre both pretty simple. honestly tucked backies aren't as fun as layed out and if you have to huck a tucked backie then you probably shouldnt be doing a backie on that jump. personally ive done layed out on probably a 10-15 footer with like 6ft of air and i had enough air time so you might wanna learn to spin faster. ive only over rotated backies not faceplant lol.
