Recommend me a pow ski for Utah(Alta)

Moving out to Utah next season, and am looking for a pow ski.
I'm 18, 175lbs and 6'2". Type 3 skier.
Budget: as cheap as possible, but pow skis are all approx the same price.
Something chargy, but that can be playful/jibby if needed. I prefer sending off of cliffs and big shit, but I'd like to be able to get down in the trees if I want. I'm riding a pair of Rossi S3s right now, and like the stiffness/high speed performance, but they're pretty stiff, so things like butters are a little tricky. I've been looking at the Pettitors, Bent Chetlers and CT 4.0s, and am wondering if there is anything else out there that I should look for.

Oh also, I'd prefer to get them from a company like Faction/K2/Armada/Liberty that gives industry discounts, cause the ski industry doesn't pay me enough.

Moment Bibby Pro would be perfect, might still be too stiff for you. So you could also do Armada JJ or Magic J for a surfier, flexier, more playful ski, although I have never ridden them. Line Magnum Opus is another good option for a more playful jibby pow ski that can still charge pretty hard. Black crows Anima would be slightly chargier than the Bibby Pro. Middle ground you could do the Icelantic Nomad 115/125 or ON3P Kartel 116.

I have been riding J Skis' Friends for two and a half years now and they're still in awesome shape. Bit more of a soft ski so many might not think it's stable, but I think they've got enough rigidity underfoot to hold on when you're rippin'. Flexier tips and tails make buttering terrifically fun. Been skiing them all over, touring a bit, and even in the park lately. I've always wanted to pick up a pair of Benchetlers because that looks like a wicked fun ski as well. Armada makes some dope pow skis too.

Got Bent Chetlers this season and was stoked they are super playful but also charge really hard particularly cos they've added carbon stringers this year

Before I bought pow skis I was looking pretty hard at the 4frnt kye 110s. Or the devastators look interesting too, stiff but reverse camber

What you're describing sounds like a 186 ON3P kartel 116. Bibbpy Pro could be a good choice as well.

I love how people recommend stiffer skis for someone who wants something more buttery than a s3.

They felt pretty stiff to me, even though I came from old directional planks. I've never though of them as floppy, cause they felt really locked in at high speed.

Maybe try the K2 Catamaran. It's a soft worthless buttery noodle like the S3. Everything else, and I mean everything, is drastically stiffer than the rice cored Rossi's you currently ski. Even the soft ARV116 (fun, but soft) would need a log scale to compare to the S3 (and catamaran).

Other drastically stiffer skis that are still soft in the overall scheme of things are the Mordicai, CT4.0, and Anima Free bird.

Maybe try and find an old pair of Line EP Pros from 2008.

this is definitely true, you want a ski that can charge through the chop. I'm your size but a little lighter and I rode 4frnt YLEs all year and they have been perfect. They can charge, but are also just a big park ski so they're pretty perfect for hitting jumps at Alta. Their tips are a little prone to diving cause of the symmetrical shape but other than that they are perfect for LCC

I rode a 185 Bentchetler in Tahoe at Squaw and they were perfect, and IM heading to Utah next year rode em as well

I find the s3 to have some chatter, i consider them stiff because i used to volkl ledge park skis which may be in the top 5 biggest noodles on the market.

I have some oldie Line EP Pros from somewhere 2008-2010? They do have three mounts but i'd sell them to you for dirt cheap so it might be worth it if you could get a mount off.
