6x9 car speakers?

Does anyone know the best 6x9 speakers that are between $100-170...? I've been looking at some infinitys and pioneers, and I don't know which ones are better.

^thanks dude, that was pretty informational. But, I just bought some new 420 watt pioneer 6x9s, and right now I have a really nice pioneer aftermarket deck in my car. I think best buy is rippin me off though because I bought them for $140 and they want to charge me to install them.

whoever said that the difference is minimal is a dumbass...go to crutchfield.com and you can input your car and they will show all available products, what you need to install them, amound of modifications needed and how they rate. There is humongous differences between speakers by two companies for the same price, it all depends what your looking for such as wattage, RMS wattage, frequency, all that shit, it just depends what works for your system.

I would say Pioneer, they make quality equiptment but it's not unaffordable.

FUCK INFINITY. their stuff is horrible quality, a friend of mine got 2 of their 12 inch subs and my 10 inch JL hits so much harder than his 2.

ridetweaks, a 12 inch sub shouldn't nessecarily 'hit' harder because it's bigger. Theres a little thing called wattage that comes into play. Maybe it's not that infinity sucks, maybe you've got more power to your sub than your friend.

What do you use for amps and what does he use (power output)? That could be the difference.
