Teaching yourself tricks

Everything i have learned in skiing, i have taught myself. i suck at jumps and i can only do a 3 off of a medium ish jump. I can 2 off both ways and i can front 4 off with no need of a dropoff. Im trying to teach my friends how to do rails consistently, my one buddy learned in half a season and he can do urban down rails with ease. Is it ok to teach yourself everything? i sometimes ask for advice in the park. Anyone else teach themselves everything?

Sounds weird, but once you eat shit really hard you can teach yourself anything. You just have to be willing to go for it

No shame in asking for help. No better way to make friends than hiking a rail for half the day and learning four new tricks thanks to a stranger.
