If a switch 10 and a double invert like the wilson flip were thrown with the same degree of style, stomped, and had a grab, I'd score the double higher any day of the week. It takes courage, skill and a progressive vision to throw a trick like that in a comp, and I think people will come around to that eventually, unless you want to see a switch 10 win every comp from now until freeskiing dies.
Besides, labeling what Wilson does as a 'double' in comparison to spinning tricks is slightly misleading, considering that a 720 is technically a 'double 360', a 1080 is a 'triple,' and so on. The Wilson flip is sick, and I can't wait until the day when I can watch a big air comp where more than one rider does something different.
