steezkneezDude you're a bit of an asshole. Like I get not liking little snot nose 10 year olds who have no basic skiing ability outside of the park. I was in a park I hadn't been to once and I was speed checking a jump and some kid told me to "get the fuck off the jump" so I watched him and he did a cork 7. Then I watched him keep skiing after and he honestly "pizzad" or "snowplowed" down. It's pisses me off to see kids not enjoy the best part of the sport but that doesn't mean you've gotta chirp people on the Internet if they give their opinion... The sports about having fun and doing what you want. That's why we ski. There's no rules, you can do what you want. If they wanna stay in the park till their joints tell them otherwise let em. They had their fun.

BurgyI fucken love newschool freestyle skiing..... but honestly, if I was given a choice between skiing "properly" (no leaning back or forwards, no butters, no switch, always proper sized poles, no hand dragging or surfing, only racer form) and snowboarding.... id pick snow boarding hands down.
my style of skiing can relate more to the mind set of snowboarding then it can to "Properly skiing". "Properly skiing" shouldn't be associated with newschoolers or new school skiing at all. its about freely expressing your style of skiing, free minded skiing, and understanding that there is no proper way to ski.
of course there are snowboarders that preach "proper snowboarding" but in general snowboarding has a more freestyle mind set then skiing.

Morriski_Youre being ignorant and narrow minded, i dont get why people are bashing on poles, different types of skiing require poles more than others, i invite you to try and ski deep powder at a 40 degree angle, get back to me on how far you tomahawk
