The recommended line is -4. Only go -2 if you ski a good amount of park. I just talked to iggyskier about it and he said the skis are designed to be mounted at the recommended point
So only mount it somewhere else if you ski more park than all mountain.

Depends where and how you ski. Just so you know, the more information you give about yourself, the better answers you're going to get.

Well recommended is -3.75 I think (that's where it is on the K106 on a 176, I would assume the recommended on the 98 wouldn't be further back)
I had mine (K106, very similar tho) mounted for my boot at -2 and I loved them there. I got a smaller boot and they got moved closer to -1.15 and I could feel a difference in stability. I'm an all mountain charger tho. I got them remounted back to -2 tho. Anyway it just depends what type of skiing you do. To give you an idea Karl skis his K98 at -1 and K106 at -2.
Hope that helps haha. If you have any more questions post in the ON3P thread cause that place is crawling with answers. Also just talk to iggy some more, he's awesome.

Mounted my 176 kartels at -3. Couldn't be happier with them.

Dash on the left sidewall is the factory recommended mark for each model and size.
