Had a little idea come to mind the other day when we sat down to plan our trip for winter 2017. Similar to the gear review section, could it be possible to have a resort review section? Like something to review what the park is like or what the BC/Terrain is like? I know a lot of people take trips over the winter and there are often threads asking where the best terrain or the best park is. And usually when you search stuff on google it's not all useful information for skiers like us. Like I haven't really been able to find much about the actual skiing. "The best skiing in *insert general location*". Nothing that really gives you an idea what it is like to ski there.
Reviewers could rate things like price, town/location, lodging, gnarliness of park/terrain, convenience(lift lines, food pricing, etc), vibe, nightlife and the other things people look for when planing a trip. And maybe in the written part reviewers could even give suggestions for like areas of the mountain to ski, bars to go to, places to eat, places to stay etc.
I know NS isn't a travel agency or anything. But it sure would be cool to see what other freeskiers say about resorts. Reading a review from someone who takes a ski trip once a year and thats all the skiing they do isn't really someone I would like to take advice from. And that appears to be what I find everywhere on the internet. So I think it could be cool in the future. (:
