Tasty_Breadeven got trash talked at event for being a "park rat".
But let your skiing do the talking.
There's no better feeling than showing up all the haters at a ranked event.
CQBMNMaybe just a little bit more of the mountain should be park. There's so many possible park setups that you can never have enough.
SirBucklesThere's so many possible big mountain lines, you can never have enough.
KravtZI ski a pretty big resort in Southern VT often. The race kids kill it. All amazing skiers. Text book definitions...could out ski most "park" kids any day of the week on groomers, trees, powder, etc. I am a ex racer and am a very good skier myself something I pride myself in.
I see / know a bunch of these kids who bring up twin tips also for runs here and there between races, etc. Many of them are really solid park riders.
I would say the average park rider couldnt hit every rail in the park, cant 360, ride switch well, the list goes on. Its VERY obvious of this...go take a few laps through the park and watch other people.
CQBMNI guess that's true.
SammyDubzTranslation: I tried out for the race team one year and I wasn't good enough, so I hate all racers now
loafer102110What about those racers that think their cool because they own a pair of twintips at home that they never use?
jlens05Racers think they're the shit cause if you ski race, you're rich and you can't deny it. Since you're rich you're parents spend thousands and thousands of dollars on your gear, coaching, and passes. And obviously whoever spends the most on skiing is the best skiier on the mountain right? Hence the stuck up racer mentality
radicalfactionSometimes the girls riding around in their GS suits have nice asses though
Jon_TafferThe average race kid is probably just as rich as the average park kid
radicalfactionif you're a kid, sure... any kid on the mountain racer or not couldn't afford their own gear or passes. If you're talking about the average person in their 20's though...
Jon_Tafferfor the average skier, I don't see how skiing park automatically makes you poorer than racing
Kennyfjust sending it for the boys.
