hollywood is jumping on any story these days. not to say this isnt an incredible story and horrible these men had to survive down there but this happened so recently.

i mean if they sold their story some good has come of it, if not then its just shitty

it got me thinking though, hollywood has made movies about man made and natural disasters, eg a romance movie out of the titanic disaster, in a 100 years do you think they'll do the same to tragedies from this era?

correct because every event ever know is a based-on a true story hollywood movie. Bengahzi, argo, this dumb 2 hour waste of time. It's extremely sad that those men were trapped in the mine, but instead of making this movie...maybe we do something about mine safety...nope that would be stupid.

Yeah...I saw the previews and thought "too soon."

I can't really get into movies about real life events that happened not that long ago.
