powder king is a fun little hill. not much in the way of gnar but there's nice mellow runs to rip and enjoy deep pow in. the place is totally ghetto though. i was last there maybe 6 years ago and at that point the only hotel there was chateau atco (which were converted portables) and the only pay phone was a satellite one. i think there's a decent backcountry around, i don't remember but i hear of one. it's a fun place and there aren't any lineups whatsoever. if there is that much snow, then head there. it'll be the lightest most epic powder ever

PK is the shit. 24 runs and only 2 are groomed. Plus theres lots of trees. And it's never busy, so ya never have to wait in line.
