LonelyDing ding you're wrong. You also agree when getting your drivers license that you treat every person on the road (cyclist, motocyclist, and cars) in the ways that laws apply. But I guess since a motorcycle is hard to see you have an excuse to not be aware of them, even though if you follow the laws and rules of the road you don't need to because they apply to cyclist too. It's when the idiot driver doesn't shoulder check and sideswipesand kills you because they didn't follow the simple rule of shoulder checking. Don't blame dumb drivers mistakes on cyclists you ignorant fool.

LonelyThe roads in a perfect world where everyone follows the rules are just as dangerous for everyone. Its dangerous because dumb drivers. Its like skiing at a resort with jerrys. I may make myself more vulnerable by chosing too go fast down the hill and get cut off by the jerry and injuring myself. But if there were no jerrys and everyone shoulder checked that wouldn't be the case. Sure it's more dangerous to ride a motorcycle. But most of that comes from dumb people not the fact that your riding a motorcycle. And yes cyclists bitch because your fucking dumb driving kills you dick head. You bitch too when a driver cuts you off or almost tbones you. But it's not a big deal for you because there's a good chance you'll come off fine, not come off in a stretcher.

LonelyOkay sure real world since the concept of comparing reality to an absolute. Roughly 65% of motorcycle crashes are caused by a automobile. The most common causes being, distracted driving and not lane checking. So hmm. Since you didn't lane check and where on your cellphone and killed me..it's my fault for riding a motorcycle.

If bikes were so easy to spot, why is it a safe an encouraged practice to make bikes much louder than cars?

theBearJewThe other day I was trying to figure out where I needed to turn right after I got off the exit. Was in a hurry, headed to the redbull wings for life run so it was very strict on the start time. Doin about 80 down an off ramp, look up from my map on the phone to see the light is right in front of me. I slam the breaks, dont have enough room to stop, cut the wheel, screech the tires, car holds I make the turn some how. AWD is the greatest, would be in serious trouble if the car wasn't AWD.

this goes back to your issue- you wont accept that riding a motorcycle is far more dangerous than riding in a car and that is because you have NO crash protection, have minimal evasive maneuvering capabilities, and are significantly harder to see- especially in side/rear mirrors.
