this already exists, smith, poc, and multiple other companies have bluetooth speakers in their helmets. Also skullcandy sells a universal kit to put bluetooth into any helmet

Having Bluetooth doesn't allow me to put my phone on airplane mode meaning its gonna die at some point during the day. I'd rather just keep it on airplane mode and listen to music than waste all the battery

Thats a good point. Something that we did not think about. We are thinking about having a spot where a aux cord can go in, or you can do Bluetooth.

that would be the same thing as the skullcandy kit, which is like 40 bucks

We are now thinking about a helmet with built in earbuds. It would allow for you to not use the earpads and not have to worry about the major wire hassle of regular earbuds.

I don't mean to be a dick....but wireless earbuds have been around for a long time. Nothing new there.

So what would make yours different/how to you expect to get the R/D to make a helmet?
