Miah larimer...one of my beat friends was hit by a car and his heart has stopped 3 times. It just stopped again and he really needs all the help he can get. Weat her you believe in it or not.

I am so so so sorry man. Like i said i couldnt imagine what youre going through especially at this age. The good always go too young. Far too young in this case. This is just a terrible situatuon all around.

Fuck dude, Im sorry for your loss I have been checking this thread since it was made to hear if it got better. I hope the driver gets through the situation as best as possible.

Im still wondering, why was a 15 year old driving?

In South Dakota now, teens can get an instruction permit at age 14, letting them drive with adult supervision.

Yup. Drive for 6 months with an adult and then you are good to go from sunrise to 10.

Kid had been driving without a parent for 3 weeks.

Sorry to hear about this man. A buddy from my school passed last week in a car accident too. He was 15. It's crazy how life can change like that. Prayers headed your way.

Fuck, Im so sorry for your loss. This whole situation is so sad, I feel really bad for the kid driving the car to, no 15 year old deserves to go through that. Again vibes to you and everyone involved.

We just had a huge service with all the kids who knew him celebrating and telling stories of the best times with him. It was amazing.

We have one friend from our main group who was in Reno checking out the university that me and him are going To. He has been unable to see him and his flight will get back at 11:20. They said 24ish hours from 10:30am before they would officially take him off life support....so pray that he makes it.

Also another close friend is in Mexico and will be unable to see him. So please pray that he copes with this well.

That is really great that your friend will be able to be with him one more time and say goodbye. Praying the flight goes well and is on time. Can't even imagine what its like waiting like that. Sendin vibes to all of you guys. Hang in there man.

Having lost a close friend when I was around your age due to a tragic accident I know your pain. I will never ever forget that phone call. it was before cell phones were really popular and my mom picked up the house phone and instantly lost it. When she told me I pretty much collapsed.

No one should ever have to die in the dawn of their life, but as hard as the next couple of weeks will be it will get easier fortunately. It's nice that he will be able to live on in some capacity in someon else's body, so a part of him will continue on for several years. Well... RIP.

Well here is an update for everybody....his heart has been on life support since the accident....and yet it is getting stronger. It had baffled the doctors but they will take what they can get.

They now have a transplant lined up for a man in minnisota. So it looks live my good friend is going to save a life!! We're proud of him.


They should be taking it later this day. So pray everything goes well and his heart will live on in another man.

it will be nice to know that somewhere, somebody has a little bit of your friend pumping all of their blood for them. it would be really humbling to meet up with the recipient in the future.

im late to see this but i read through the comments of this and when i got to one my heart just sank. the whole situation is just so fucked up but im glad he will get to live on through organ donations and will give many other people second chances

If I was you I don't know if I'd be able to see the good in this, so i just want to say all the more respect to you for being optimistic. Sounds like you're the best friend a guy could ask for. Again, prayers to you, his family, and the rest of the friends that knew him, especially the young man driving, I can't comprehend what he's going through along with the rest of the parties involved. I hope one day you get to meet someone with one of his organs. I've seen documentaries on that situation and it looks absolutely humbling. Best of luck with this man.I feel awful for everyone involved.

Thank you man. I'm trying to stay positive. I am confident we will all see him again.

The official count is up to 65 people. With the main organs being the heart, liver, pancreas, and both kidneys. the man who is getting his heart is a 37 year old man from Rochester Minnisota. Hopefully the thing will pump great and allow him to live a wonderful life.

I feel like I should mention here too that the community outreach for Miah and his family has been astounding. He has literally brought the entire high school together and joined everyone through the power of love and united strength. It's incredible to see so much support from the community. I just wish he knew how much of an impact he had on us and how many lives he truly inspired.
