FKS 140 on a 100mm skis?

Hey NS what You think i should put on a 2016 Salomon Rocker 2 with a 100 MM under foot .
The FKS or the STH 13 ? Im a bit scared because the FKS put the tension on a single spot of the skis and the sth are more repended with There 5 screws

I vote for the FKS. Skied for years with the FKS and I've never had an issue.

Just give up on the "FKS will delam your ski" thing. I guarantee there are a lot of skiers much burlier than you who ride FKS and don't have a problem with it. It was caused by either a faulty ski (somewhat unlikely) or a shit job by the tech (somewhat more likely)

But you know what, fuck it, get the STH. Maybe if you try hard enough you can create a myth on NS that FKS make skis delam, it will go nicely with the "FKS are hard to get on in pow" myth.

Have some steel pivot 15s on moment pbj's (101 waist) and I'm 5'11 215lbs 3+ skier type with a bsl of 305. I have had no problems with fks/pivots mounts other than when mounting onto bigger waisted skis where a wider heel I feel like drive the ski a little better but the pivot/fks has the highest retention on the market.


But OP we need more info from you. Give us your height/weight/age/boot sole length/skier type to even know what din binding you need

I ride fks on my pow skis and they are most definitely harder to put on then my sths, not enough to warrant not buying them, but definitely harder all the same

i love my fks. i highly recommend them, just as long as if you break a brake its a bit spendy, like 80$ or so. but i love the elasticity, i love how the heel wraps around the heel lug of your boot more than your normal binding.

2 seasons ago I got my jmo's mounted with pivot14's and both my knee caps exploded instantly. marker squires are going to be your best bet.

I ski FKS on ON3P Caylors (120mm underfoot) and have for well over 100 days now with no problems. Go for it.

Go with the FKS though. it will change your life. You will never buy another ski binding again after you ski on it.
