Short(er) Ski for Park?

I'm around 6ft and I ride a pair of 169cm Volkl Wall 2009 Park & Pipe Skis. I got them for Christmas and was wondering if these are too short for me? Also, I was wondering what are the pros and cons of using a shorter ski for park. Thanks guys!

They are kinda short for you and 2009's damn. Anyways. Shorter skis are better if your a newer skier or newer park skier as it allows you to spin, jib, move easier, before going on to a longer ski that offers more stability and can be much more fun but is better for intermediate to advanced park skiers.

thats pretty short bro. I ride 176 park skis at 5'10 and they feel too short

It's all personal preference but generally that's a little short for your size. like I'm 5'11'' and ski 184's for park

Yeah they're quite short for you, I'm 5'8 and ride 175's. However you need not worry because you just started skiing park so I can pretty much guarantee you they won't last more than a season to a season and a half of heavy beginner park riding. Park skis break especially when you're learning and trying new things. So enjoy them until they break and when they break go for a longer pair.

Sounds a bit short. I'd say a 176 to 186 would be ideal, depending on your preference.

If you're lighter, I'd say lean towards the shorter side.
