HalfandHalftrampoline.
foam pit if you access to one.
Just getting comfortable in the air doing em
jackdonovanmaybe you need a bigger jump
McLS1)pop
2)use your arms to set back but don't throw them above your chest
2)"break your neck backwards" so you're already looking down (the rest of your upper body should follow easily)
3)spot the landing (at this moment you should be upside down with the tips of your skis almost touching your head, knees bent)
4)bring your knees down to land.
laying backflips out is soon much easier (to land and make sure you don't over rotate/under rotate) if you get the set right: DONT throw your head back as soon as you're on the lip, pop first, use your arms a little (if it's a bigger kicker you won't even need to) and IMPORTANT: try to basically fuck the sky (but keep the head/shoulder backwards motion in mind, otherwise you end up stopping the rotation facing the sky, not good), that will arch your back and give you more momentum for the upper body (for the lower body don't think about it for the set, just bend your knees a little).
good luck :)
