.WashingtonThis is an old thread op
.lenconIt is. But I need to know more about this ski
tomPietrowskiYour in luck. rmu sent me a pair to test an I have an in depth review coming in a couple of weeks. They are a super fun ski though I have been skiing thema ton recently.
tomPietrowskiIt's a pretty underground ski they only started advertising it's couple of years ago. Tey don't make many but they are being made again next season so get in early if you want a pair. Well worth a look though tey are really well built and ski really well.
Brocka_FlockaKid I know is on them and got herself a pair of these. Describes them as a "softer park ski" Pretty fun though apparently and comparable to the Faction Prodigy apparently. Heads up to, the look like they have no tip ot tail. I am not kidding. They look flat.
tomPietrowskiYou sure that is the same ski? They have quite a bit of rocker in the tip and tail so certainly not flat. I would not call them that soft either for a rockered park ski they are reasonably stiff which is a good thing as tey have loads of pop still. Often rockered park skis can feel a little dead as a soft rockered ski won't have much pop. Rmu kept the ski a little stiffer to maintain a good amount of life an pop in the skis.
.lenconHow does the flex compare to your jmos? I have Kartels which are similar so just wondering.
tomPietrowskiI just went to flex both and the wisco is way stiffer especially in the nose. Now it is worth sayin my jmos are about 80 days old and the wisco about 15 but I felt max's new kartels and they are still softer. They are quite similar skis though but the wisco has way less swing weight and pops way more. I have actually not ridden the jmo that much since getting the wisco. Only issue holdin me backusingthe wisco all te time is they only had the 171. They are more like a 176 from most brands so fine in the park but for shredding I do wish I had the 181.
.lenconSeems kinda stiff. Kartels aren't that soft imo, but then again I'm only 130 pounds haha
tomPietrowskiHaha yeah that is probably part of it the jmo/kartel are pretty soft in both the tip and tail. There super fun but do lack a little pop in my opinion. The wisco is still plenty buttery enough for me and personaly a prefer a stiffer rockered park ski so the rocker is still useful and not just lifeless.
.lenconThat's how I like it too. For my size I find the Kartel to be about perfect, probably what you like in the wisco.
tomPietrowskiYeah I have about 40lbs on you and I'm skiing them kind of short for my size. I'll probably compare them in the review to the jmo though as they are sort of similar, sort of.
