approach feet shoulder width apart, begin to set rotation, jump straight up, rotate (as previously stated picking your knees up helps a fuckload) stomp the shit of it
It also used to help me get the right feel for it to spin and stall out a small 180 over the rail if you have that option. At least you'll have a better idea as to how much airtime you'll have when you get around to spinning the actual 270. Good luck!
I don't know if it's the right thing to do but its always helped is too look down at the rail when you spin onto it so you know how far you are away from it and how much you need to adjust you rotation. As soon as you've landed on the rail and locked on you should look back up and at the end of the rail though.
When I do them, it helps if I DONT think of it as a spin on, rather kind of just placing my left foot forward as I approach from the right side of the lip. Also, make sure you pop up hard and get over and above the rail before you start spinning! Good luck!
Well since I was comparing setups in the park that are designed like urban rails to urban rails themselves, and not down rails to flat rails as you claimed, you're the one that's retarded. Good try but gain some reading comprehension skills before you try calling someone a mean name.
