Saga does not get enough hype- said no 12 year old ever

Probably Patagonia for outerwear. I don't know why many people just don't like their gear. It's the best quality jackets and pants.

Skis- Idk any small company like praxis or something else. Idk?

Nordica in general. I don't see any of their products at my hill or over seas. Plus their boots are so under rated.

I disagree. At least where I'm from on3p's are pretty uncommon. It's mostly(and by mostly I actually mean 95%) K2, Line, and Armada. Everything else is rare to say the least. Not sure how that compares to bigger east coast mountains and out west.

On3p is very regional I have seen one person rocking on3p before outside of Oregon.

these guys have been making the same ski for a couple years but they're consistently improving it every year. Copped a pair around Thanksgiving, most playful ski I've ever had. Don't sleep on em.

Hg gets my vote specifically for being the most durable ski I have ever seen (including j skis/ON3P, line, etc). Skis are most quality sticks I have ever touched and I love it.

Another company that doesn't get enough ski hype is lib tech. Shits some of the best out and I hear nobody who has their stuf. Besides lucas wachs.There's a reason why Rossi just bought into the magne-traction patent.

For boots, nordica is wayyy underrated as well as technical. They both make top of the line boots.

Clothes are kind of hard to judge, but I think INI cooperative has some of the dopest stuff out. Love my jacket more than any other piece of outerwear I have.

yes, im not 100% sure on that but i think thats correct. the engineers have been building skis for a long time, but actually started the company not too long ago. im very impressed with my rayzrblaydz

tdollonot sure if underated but Bloom sure has some sick stuff

I never see ANY bloom on the slopes but I really think it looks awesome online lol. Props to anyone who reps it though

I wouldn't say companies like ON3P, bloom, and kitten factory are "under rated". They are just new companies. They haven't made their debut yet.

Companies like Patagonia are under rated. They make probably the best gear but you see more oakley, saga, tnf, and armada before Patagonia. Not that oakley saga tnf and armada aren't as good, but tnf is the only brand out of those that matches the standards of patagomia

This is spot on. Many people in this thread are confusing underrated and uncommon. Underrated simply means the product is underestimated and performs better than people give it credit for, regardless of how many people own one. A product can be commonplace yet still be underrated.

The opposite of underrated is over-hyped, which honestly describes a lot of gear on the market.

Very true. I am not sure where the hate comes from on NS calling Patagonia, TNF, and also Arteryx "dad clothing" and sorta blowing it off. Although big brands, these three companies in my opinion put our products that surpasses companies like Oakley and Saga exponentially in quality of good and performance. It costs a bit extra, but a Patagonia shell is far for durable and functional than pretty much any shell on the market. A lot of Patagonia's and TNF's pieces have pretty good style too. I rock a North Face Cymbiant Jacket with a longer fit that in my opinion is a great looking outerwear setup.

This, I miss my old Doberman boots, Nordica race boots made the best freeride boots out. Its near on impossible to find a shop in the UK that carries them any more.

Maybe they are considered "dad clothing" cause its so expensive because of the quality so I cant afford it haha. That's why I have bloom, "high school clothing", cause it's all I can afford haha.

The old Boomerang was the best pow ski I've ever been on. I'm going to buy a pair to replace the ones I sold. Their factory presses skis and snowboards for a lot of companies and they don't get any respect for their abilities. My Elan-built 4frnt Turbos are tanks. I don't tune them. I don't baby them. I don't baby them. I just ski them hard and throw them back in the truck for the next day.

I second the lib tech vote. I have a pair of freerides and they are an amazing all mountain ski.

Marker's Griffon is the most popular binding in the game in terms of NSers right now. In terms of clothes, I don't think they make any but if they do then I have definitely never seen anyone wearing any at my hill.
