fencig3When I was 8, I lost my virginity to my uncle. Life-changing experience, but it has made me a better man
*SBCmingg*The first thing that comes to mind is my first trip to Breck and going to the top of Peak 8 for the first time. I remember standing up there and just thinking how insane it was to be doing what I was doing( coming from a 550 ft vert hill). I remember being so fucking nervous to drop into anything. My friend and I stood there for about 5 minutes trying to decide what to do. My heart was racing so bad but then we dropped somewhere and all that fear that i had was just gone and it was like it was me out there on the mountain and nothing else really mattered. Its so hard to explain but it was such an awesome time. I like to think of that as a turning point in the way I ski. After that I had a new appreciation for the mountains and skiing in general. I realized there was so much more out there than just riding park. This was just one mountain and there are so many others to go to and explore. Just thinking about that trip gives me the chills. I can't wait to go back in 3 weeks(:
Just.Go.With.ItI havnt ever skied anything out west or over 1000ft vert for that matter. But I have snowmobiled in some pretty wild terrain in Wyoming and I have to say I was in awe my first time out there. Things seemed so much more on a grand scale compared to here in MN. That first trip really put me in my place. Lets just say I wasnt as good as I thought I was.
