Well -emile- isn't afraid to speak his mind out, and it's not because he's overly positive about pretty much everything, which is the case with a lot of members on NS IMO, that he doesn't like anything, he's just really selective.

I agree with him, boxes should only belong in beginner parks. Any trick on a boxe isn't very legit.

I love lip in blind 2. I don't understand the origins of it's hype though.

I've seen enough cork 7 blunts to make my eyes bleed but I still think they're awesome and aspire to do one.

Kfeds on flat rails. 270s on, 270/450s off, spins off of kinks and definitely nose/tail slides are super legit but I'm just not a fan of spinning around on a flat rail, makes skiing look too easy and like it's lost it's challenge.

Unfortunately for you the parks aren't trying to cater to just you. I can understand not having boxes in a epic $$$ rail jam, but saying that there shouldn't be any boxes in the park, or anything over the beginner park? Lol.

It's all about variety. IF you have a nice mix of features, boxes, rails, flats, downs, kinks, curved, various lengths etc, it keeps things fun and aid progression.

A lot of people learn tricks on a box and then take it to a similar rail. I see it all the time, skiers as well boarders.

Hell, a lot of places have things set up so you can hit two options in most places and avoid the boxes.

The park isn't always about how legit something is, or whether you can claim it. If that's what you're looking for we could raise all the features in the advanced parks to obnoxiously high with death kinks. Then when you get a shot on it you can claim the legitness so hard.

the origin of the origin of the origin was Lip on blind 2 being the first trick that I landed on a real down rail
(urban style lip, not ride on. pretty big for me back then, in a rail jam)
