I'm looking for a new all mountain ski for next season. I am 6ft 145lb and ski very aggressively. I want a ski with a waist in the area of 95 - 105. I will be skiing at mount baker mostly so the snow will be very heavy. I already have a pair of powder skis. I'll only take these skis out on days that are 6 inches or less.
Currently I own a pair of 4FRNT EHP. They are 116 waist and 122 in the tip, so a very straight ski. I like how stiff they are, and how hard they charge, but I don't like their weight and it's a little harder to spin on them because they are back mounted.
I want a ski with a rocker/camber/rocker profile but I am fine to settle with just full rocker profile. The skis must be good for jumping and occasional jibbing. They must also be good for landing switch.
The skis I'm taking into consideration -
- Volkl Bridge 95 - full rocker.
- Moment PB&J 101 - r/c/r
- Nordica Soul Rider 95 - r/c/r
- Armada arvti (these are the ones the guy at the ski shop recommended) - r/c/r
- k2 Shreditor 102 - r/c/r
Please don't recommend me a pair of ON3Ps or Jskis. They're out of the price range. I'll probably buy online used. I'll get a ski that's 170 - 179
