True walk mode boots?

Not sure if this belongs in GT or SG, but...

last december i broke my arm on a rail.

got a nice ride down from 3 kings in the meat wagon.

but the ski patrol guy had these boots that had a plastic moveable part at the toe.

does anyone know what these are?

Not quite. They were regular boots with plastic at the toes, so they can bend

yes i know what your talking about. theyre just at boots with a binding that can accommodate them. ive seen quite a few patrollers roll with this kind of style.
