Replying to Quick question about moving a binding

Last christmas my dad wanted to suprise me with a new pair of skis and bindings. I didnt know about it until christmas day .

So I found out when he took them to the shop to get the bindings put on, they asked if he would like to have the bindings 2cm behind from centre, being a non-skiing dad he just went ahead with it as it was a suprise so he couldnt ask me.

Anyway, is it possible to move the binding back to centre and drill new holes or will is destroy the ski?
