Replying to Skate Skiing?

You guys might remember a while ago the video for the DIY video about summer skis with wills for ramps into airbags/foam pits. Well I was wondering, could you or have you done skate skiing? like actually taking your skis with wheels into the skate park? I figured you probably could, just wasn't sure. If possible id be interested. Anyway to get speed you could either push off your feet like going on a flat spot or buy a longboard paddle. Anyway just wondering.
