See, i live in vermont and wish i was out west. i guess i sort of take for granted my ability to have mountains

Well you might appreciate good skiing more than people who live in vermont. One season out at alta has spoiled me. I won't enjoy a lot of places I used to be able and will constantly have to find bigger and better mountains forever. I think its called utilitarian pleasure or something like that.

dude VT to NY is not much of a change. I go from Alta (200+inches this year) to VT ice and rain. Alta does spoil you, After a couple days of no new snow i get mad now.

Don't go home? If i even hinted at that my rents would kill me. Anyway, I'm prolly gonna end up going to college in New Hampshire or something, a little better then Maryland

or you could be me and lived in Connecticut your whole life and decided to go to school in CT, made awesome friends here and realized wow your a senior in college and CT is definitely not the place for you anymore, but your stuck here for at least this year and theres nothing you can do about it... sucks.. driving 3 hours to ski is horrible

I just left boone, nc where it has been snowing all week to go home to fl. I stayed up at school for an extra week after exams just to ski.
