Elan skis?

I have a pair of slingshots from a few years back and they've held up to this day...but I'm wondering who has ridden some of the newer stuff? If I did get elans I'd be looking at the boomerang tbt or the domino. How does the bommerang ride with the tbt technology? (Triple base technology). I'm looking at a few new pairs of skis so domino would be my all mtn and boomerang would be my bc setup..also how do the 180 boomerang compare to 177 4frnt YLE? How dies the domino compare to the 176 ON3P jmos?


Also I'm selling surface one life's..size 179 pm me...

The older 190 Boomerang was my favorite pow ski ever. I may still pick up another pair just because i really like them.

I haven't been on the tbt version. But I know a guy that has ridden both, and from his review, I'm going to stick with the old one.

The old model was a flat camber, rockered tip/tail pow ski with low-profile tips and tails like an EHP. It was the best ski over 110mm on hard snow I've ever been on. I could ski it every day out west. It's not light, but it charges and floats, and carves. I compare it to an EHP. A friendlier, more playful EHP. And I also have 186 EHPs.

The impression I got of the new skis was that it was different. And had a much shorter turning radius. Both things I did mot want. I like the long turn. I like the shape. I like the flex.

+K..is the flex softer on the tbt?

I know two friends with slingshots and the edges are already ripping out with little to no time on rails. I would look elsewhere if you want durability.

essentially yes, but unlike the surface which is rounded the TBT is 3 stage so like \_/ but not so drastic obviously.

It is the same except the labs have the side rocker on the whole thing and the elans have it in the tip and takl

I can't comment on their park skis, but the fat skis they build are bomber. I've had 10+ pairs of fat skis built by them, and they were all bullet proof.

super interested as well. an interesting shape that really appeals to me just want to know about their durability, whether they have problems with people snapping them, and just how they ride in general.

I have boomerangs and chainsaws. The boomerangs are 180 and they are the best skis I've ever owned. They slay in powder, and do just fine on groomers. The tbt is pretty sweet, but i'm not sure how much it actually effects skiing performance. I guess it helps with floating on powder, and not catching an edge on hard snow.

I have the Elan Puzzle's and they are dope and the TBT is great. The skis are pretty buttery but for jumps hold up great and for ripping the mountain are great. they are really durable compared to the 2 pairs of volkl's and lines that I broke. Definitely recommend them. Really underrated
