So I just got notice I am going to Dublin for a business trip Sunday-Wednesday next week. Ill be going to Dublin. This is my first time to Ireland and want to know some cool stuff to do that is fun.
Im traveling with one dude whos mid 40's who isn't the type of guy to go out and get smashed with. So after im done doing work later in the day I plan on just venturing around Dublin doing whatever. Obviously for the most part I will be solo so I don't want to go to any dangerous spots.
But im looking to just start bar hopping or doing whatever by myself since I dont get to Europe often.
Any ideas / suggestions?

Temple bar is one of the oldest bars and areas in Dublin, if you like that sort of thing, it's pretty cool i guess.

Bring dress shoes and a button up shirts (I assume you are, since its a business trip). A lot of pubs won't let you in without them.

I just got back from Ireland. The pubs in Dublin are a great place to watch World Cup games if you're into that. Temple bar is cool but it's probably about 50% American college kids. Also drink as much Guinness as you can.
