Bullies suck. But I learned that they are pretty easy to take down if you just say the right things at the right times.

Rule number 1 though, is never fight fire with fire, unless you want to get your ass kicked. The next time he says something mean, just turn and ask him why he's always such an asshole to you. Ask him if it makes him feel good to put other people down, or why he does it. Also, don't be afraid of saying "you're such a bully" or "stop making fun of me, man" because this usually makes them stop and realize what they are actually doing to you.

I used to get bullied every now and then in high school because that's what high schoolers do, and I learned that they like to prey on the weak. If you just show confidence and act like it doesn't bother you, they don't get any satisfaction out of it anymore. Just bring it to their attention that they are being a prick, and if there are more people around you when you do this, the better. No one likes to be called out, especially if they know they are putting someone down. No one wants to be known as the guy who is an asshole to 'so and so'.

More times than not, if you just level with someone, you end up getting an apology and the bullying stops. Stand up to yourself, but don't play offensive back. That's the best advice I can give anyone with bully problems.
