Replying to Really regretting my choice to stay home for february break

So, my friend and his Dad are taking a trip out to Colorado and skiing four days at Vail and Breckenridge. I had the option to go but decided against it for some stupid reason. Instead of asking my parents if i could go I just assumed they said no but long behold about a week ago I told them about how i was invited and they said they would have been glad to pay for me to go. Now i feel like a complete dumb ass and am stuck home skiing at Wachusett and Nashoba for the next week. Do you guys think you would have asked to go or just assumed like me? The worst part is that I probably won't get another chance to go out there and ski till I'm at least 20 or so.
