Anyone know whos skiing for Japan at Sochi? just curious might have some friends in the team and also some of the Japanese riders have the most amazing style..

awhile ago they had takeshi yasutoko, an x games pipe rollerblader, on skis but that never panned out.

I don't know much about the Japanese team, but I know that Ayana Onozuka is one of my favorite Half Pipe skiers to watch... men or women.  You know why?  Because she looks like a skier when she skis.  I mean she shreds it like a sick line.  No giant ass doubles, but style, speed and it looks good and looks fun.

Why is there no longer any comps in Japan? Dont they get a shit ton of snow? I know they used to have the Nippon Open but thats been gone a couple years.

Ayana Onozuka is probably better than you at every type of skiing.  Personally, I'd rather see coping tricks done by a good skier than half the shit that passes for competitive pipe skiing.
