Hey guys, I'm looking to upgrade my skis. I moved out of the mountains and wont be charging the park anywhere near as hard as before, so I'm looking for super buttery skis. Has anyone ridden the Line Afterbang and the 4Frnt Click? Those are what i'm looking to get but i want the more buttery ski. I've never really torn up a pair of skis because i'm still new. Any suggestions or comments?
Afterbangs are pretty soft from what i've heard. You could also look at k2 domains and armada al dentes, both of those are soft with some rocker which will help with butters.
Don't go with after bangs I've had mine for half a season and I have blown a tip and have had a tail delaminate, they are WAY heavy and get waterlogged, they don't have sintered bases so they are quite slow, go with the domains I have a friend who LOVES them!!
Click!'s are good if you want a price point soft ski, but if you have the cash upgrade to the Switchblade (no rhyme intended), they are an all around more versatile, durable, and better performing ski.
I coped a pair of Switchblade's on eBay for $200.00 shipped brand new and put them through the ringer. Add edges still in tact, top sheet looks good, and ski has performed great. 4Frnt makes a good product these days.
