I want to start tuning my own skis at home. What items are people using?

Files, file guides, diamond stones, gummy stones for de-tuning, p-tex candles, metal scrapers, razor blades, wax, nylon/horsehair brushes, and so on. Check out SVST for some ideas on basic kits and tuning tools, and also their site has great Tech info regarding appropriate angles and tools.
