So recently I have ran into a sort of pattern with Marker bindings, specifically griffons. Last week I under rotated a 5 on a little jump and my ski fell off, no big deal. I knew that my friend was right behind me so I hiked up the side of the landing and waited for him to land. He did the exact same thing as me, under rotating a 5 and his ski ejected, only his complete heel piece, brake and all broke off. His ski that he had about 4 days on flew down the hill. I picked my ski up and realized that my binding was also broken, although not as extreme as his. I then realized how shitty marker bindings were due to the fact that I had completely cracked the heel piece at preseason, my friend and I both broke our heel pieces on the same day, and another friend also cracked his brake heel piece pad rendering his brakes useless. I contacted Marker on the matter and they stated that I would need to go through a dealer to warranty them, but I would need the original receipt that I do not have. So my question is can I just send them my binding and a nicely worded letter to get them fixed under warranty? I've only had them for a year and they're still under warranty.
TL:DR Broken Marker Griffons, should I just send them to Marker?
