yo first of all im not sure if this goes in gear talk or not so mods please move it if its not supposed to be here. Im fucking retarded when it comes to cameras and i was gonna buy one for filming and maybe some pictures with Christmas money. i can get a Cannon XL1 for $440 on my local kijiji so i can probably get it for $375 ish and im not sure if its any good so i came here because i know alot of NS'ers do lots of photography. im just wondering if its worth the money, if it is any good, and would i be better off getting a dslr type camera and using that. Im kinda wanting the dslr because im gonna be going on trips and its alot more practical to carry around then a huge video camera but once again im retarded when it comes to cameras.
i forgot to mention if theres any cameras you guys recommend ill keep an eye out for em
