its very unlikely that they would make line snowboards considering that last year they decided to shut down forum snowboards(a company that they owned) because they wanted to focus on selling more burton boards. But if burton does now own Line then the main thing I am afraid of is burton taking the fun out of Line and just turning them into something unfun.

Yes, it's true, at the end of this month I will be stepping down from my job as Brand Director of Line & Full Tilt. We'll put out an official announcement next week but in the meantime I wanted to clarify fact from fiction.

As far as a reason, you know I’m an advocate when it comes to change, and for the first time in decades I needed to make a personal change for myself, my family and my entrepreneurial & creative spirit more than for the brand I started and worked for, the past 18 years. Will you still keep on tabs with line? Best example I can come up with is I know ben and jerry (ice cream) keep tabs on the brand they sold and still occasionally attend meetings but they don't have any actual say when it comes down to it.
