Daily webisode series documenting the debut of freeskiing in the Sochi Olympics (i.e. interviews with riders, coaches, fans, etc.). Maybe a news article about your experience in Sochi on a bi-daily basis could work, too.

Take all the freestyle guys and have them try other events with their down time. Slalom, bobsled, curling, moguls, hockey, speed skating, ect... Imagine You and Henrik racing the mogul course together, or you and Gus playing some puck and having a penalty shootout. Since the Olympics is such a big production it seems unlikely that you could get the course time/equipment to do this, but I think it would be cool

And since we know you kill it behind the lens I'd also like some photo epics of all the freestyle events to go in the news section. Shots of behind the scenes stuff, portraits of the riders, practice, qualis, finals, basically whatever you can come up with

Just spitballin here, but i think it would be cool to see some behind the scenes, olympic village stuff. There is going to be tons of coverage of actual events, but id like to see what its like for the athletes. Where they are staying, what the atmosphere is like, etc. Like a 4bi9 house style thing, but from Russia, during the Olympics.

Ya. The first part would be super hard to do, but would be so funny if it was possible. I really like the idea of the second part aswell. Also having coverage of what else is going on would be great. Like if some atheletes were fucking around in a different event, being able to see that would be so cool.

follow one or a team of athletes fairly closely so we get a good glimpse of the day to day life of an Olympic freeski athlete during the games and make it into a short daily webcast or whatever you call those thiings

I don't know exactly what is possible for you to do, but I would want to see follow cams of peoples slopestyle runs - even if they are just doing practice runs.

I'd like to see:

1) interviews from athletes that aren't necessarily in the spotlight here on NS. Sure we all know the Canadians, Americans, Swedes, etc... but lets hear from the other lesser known athletes like the Russians, Japanese, Spaniards, etc...

2) reactions from spectators that don't really know much about the sport to see how it's been received by those not "in the know"

3) daily recaps from training, quals, etc... i'm interested in the quality of the course and pipe seeing as though Russia really isn't known for it's park and pipe skiers.

4) epic party shots!

5) you not get thrown in jail...

I don't know whose commentating on whatever channels showing it, but get some knowledgeable funny guys (I volunteer), and let them commentate, upload it to NS on the daily, put in some interviews with both big names and little names. Make some day in the lifes, I wanna see Wallisch watching hockey and Henrik talking while figure skating finals are happening.

Take all of the freeskiing content broadcast during the olympics, and get some popular NSers to redo the god awful commentary that will almost certainly taint some otherwise truely amazing freeskiing. I personally, along with many other NSers im sure, think that a comp broadcast (dew tour, x games, etc) is greatly enhanced by quality, knowledgable commentary.
