here's the first jerky recipe i ever attempted - you can use your oven for this
use that basic method to cook and theres lots of marinade recipes out there. london broil is a good cut of meat to start with and 1 london broil (2-2.5lb) gives about the right amount for a batch (will fill about 2 baking sheets). marinate overnight and cook the following day. you'll have to tweak the cooking time but it's hard to overcook if you pay some attention to it (same goes for a dehydrator). dehydrator gives a slightly better product, but i probably wouldnt even own one if i didnt get it for christmas last year. most of the marinades i've made are variations of that first recipe. i do lame diets so just substitute soy sauce if you dont have coconut aminos
one variation of that recipe i've gotten a lot of compliments on is this:
Step 1. leave out maple syrup
Step 2. add sriracha (2 tbsp or to taste)
another recipe i enjoy:
^very sweet tasting, also works well to add some hot sauce too
this one is ok:
be careful with the pepper flakes it's easy to overdo
probably lots of recipes with sugar out there too that would taste great. do some internet searching and experiment. good luck!
