I want to buy the line traveling circus ski.. Im about 165cm but dont know if i should get the 171cm or the 161. I do like to spin and want the ski to be as light as possible but not entirely sure. Suggestions?
Without knowing your weight or ability level it's really hard to say. Your height has some impact but weight and ability level have much more impact upon which size to get.
At your size and weight you would be fine in 161 you can get the 171 if your looking to keep them a while if you think your going to grow. But with any park ski it's unluckily it will last more then a couple of seasons soapy e get the 161 improve on those then if you have grown by the time they break see if you want bigger next time.
Damn auto correct unlucky should be unlikely. Soapy should be so you can.
Also about weight obviously 161 will weigh less too. You only woul really need to go bigger if you weighed like 170lbs the. The 161 would feel very unstable.
161 pair weights 3720g and 171 is 3860 so the difference is small. Chronic would be alot lighter though. But I havent ridden neither of them so cant say how it feels. Im still thinking between those two skis and 171/178 myself.
But 140grams I still lighter so if your looking for a lighter setup it makes sense. Don't forget swing weight too the smaller size will always spin faster in the same ski.
