Wearing earbuds while skiing

So I don't normally listen to music while I ski but I was thinking about starting this year. I was thinking about just using my apple earbuds under my helmet. Does anyone here have experience during that? Does it become uncomfortable?

Yes they're super uncomfortable. I suggest you put headphones under your helmet for supreme comfort.

I saw a fact on here after I logged out that said wearing earbuds for just an hour increases the bacteria in your ear by 700 times. Don't do it OP.

last season my dad paid one of the guys from wu tang to ski with me and rap in my ear all day it was pretty tight but I'm moving away to school next year so I might have to get some buds too.

Just keep an earbud in one ear so you know your surroundings and you're able to hear other people talking to you.

Yeah, I started wearing these under my bucket and it was the best decision of my life. My skiing improved ten-fold, and they're super comfortable. 10/10 would recommend to a friend

i did it for a day and my ears started to bleed and i could hear them crying (yes my ears were crying)

Normal earbuds are fine, but the ones that clip over your ears (like the sport ones, not the over the ear ones) hurt your ears after a few hours of skiing.

Been using nothing but apple earbuds for two years. Way better earbud then shitty skullcandy earbuds.

Naw man you must be crazy. Skullcandy headphones are super quality. They advertise a ton, so they must be good, and they have super bright colors. Plus i heartom walish wears Skullcandys.

K2 makes a helmet with the speakers attached. Even comes with the plug to connect your iPod, iPhone, 8-track, whatever your using.

i had these and the quality was really bad, the volume was low, and the speakers were always ~1/2 inch off of my ear. they broke after about 2 months too :l

i just like to stick earbuds under my helmet. i only turn them on when im gonna drop in so i can still hear people

I wear buds under my helmet sometimes but they start to hurt your eatrs if you have earflaps on your helmet. Solution: get rid of all earflaps

I had used the apples for a day and it was hell but i came up with a solution i took my skullcandy icon2 head phones that i snapped on a trampoline. So I broke off the rest of the head thing off so it was just the speaker parts and i sewed them into my hat that I ski in and they work like a charm and you cant even tell you have them on you can be comfortable and ski all day

yeah i have one of their audio helmets and it works really well, i prefer them over buds/headphones cause it's easier to hear people talking and you have the volume adjuster so you don't have to constantly take out your ipod to do it
